Condo owners shouldn’t have to battle their own Associations just to get honest answers. Too often, association attorneys and property managers close ranks to protect each other and the Board—painting any owner who asks questions or records meetings as a “gadfly” or a “nut” who needs to be discredited. It’s no surprise so many condo owners are afraid to speak up, demand records, or run for the Board themselves.
CT Condo Owners for Change is working to fix that. We’re calling on the Governor and state legislators to change the laws so association attorneys serve all unit owners, not just the insiders—and to step in where the Department of Consumer Protection and the legal ethics system have failed.
📅 The 2026 Regular Session runs from February 4, 2026 to May 6, 2026.
📞 Contact your state representative and state senator today and tell them: It’s time to protect condo owners from abusive boards, conflicted attorneys, and unaccountable property managers.
